车辆电网技术势头强劲【通讯新闻】

元器件交易网讯 2月17日消息,据外媒EETimes报道,“车辆电网”(vehicle-to-grid)在业内影响力渐升,专家认为其在可再生能源方面将起到重要作用。车辆电网描述了电动汽车与电网的关系,当电动汽车不使用时,车载电池的电能供给电网系统。如果车载电池需要充电,电流则由电网流向车辆。

部分专家甚至认为电动汽车汽车电池通过存储风能和太阳能提升可再生能源的重要作用。

“车辆电网”的概念难免引起工程师间的争辩,但这一概念下有大量拥簇。谷歌术语“车辆电网”有超过5.26亿次的点击量,原因之一是电力公用事业、汽车制造商及大学的研究人员都在研究这一概念。

Electric car batteries can do more thanpower electric cars. They can send current to homes and buildings, or send itback to the grid when demand is high. Some experts even believe EV batteriesmight one day boost the prominence of renewables by storing the energy fromwind and solar farms.

The idea of so-called"vehicle-to-grid" schemes inevitably stirs debate among t make no mistake: The concept has a huge following. Googling the term"vehicle-to-grid" yields an astounding 526 million hits. That"s onereason electric utilities, auto manufacturers, and university researchers areall studying the concept.

Willett Kempton of the University ofDelaware has been a driving force behind the idea of vehicle-to-grid (V2G)technology. In 2013, Delaware teamed with NRG Energy to launch the world"sfirst revenue-generating V2G project.
